After heading up the European Human Resources department of Adobe Systems, Louise formed her own training company, Tidalfire in 2001.

Tidalfire is an authorised training centre for companies such as Adobe and Quark as well as a partner to Apple and GeoTrust and provides training on web, print and electronic document application software and consulting.

Louise was Regional Winner of the 2004 Association of Scottish Business Women's - Enterprising New Business Award. She is a member of the Glasgow Chamber of Commerce and the Entrepreneurial Exchange and achieved IIP recognition for Tidalfire in October 2005.
